The location in the conservatory was fine by us, as we were surrounded by beautiful gardens and enjoyed the stunning views. the room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. the service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellently cooked and plentiful.
One negative aspect was that on going down in the morning, we were sat in the sweltering conservatory, which made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy our meal.

Delicious breakfast was provided. Good location was a plus. Just 15 minutes walk to Redcar Beacon, also next to many other tourist areas...
Nothing all excellent.

We recently enjoyed a lovely Easter weekend in a cozy countryside lodge. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful rural setting while still being close to amenities in a charming village. The panoramic views of the surrounding nature, including the moors and the sea, were absolutely breathtaking. the grounds of the lodge were well-maintained, providing ample space to explore and relax.
We were disappointed by the lack of dog-friendly facilities. Despite advertising as dog-friendly, we were not allowed to leave our dog in the room during breakfast and were even discouraged from bringing him inside the dining room.

Nice gardens, bird-watching friendly. Helpful staff. Stayed here over the weekend, the gardens were lovely and there were a lot of birds to watch. the staff were helpful and friendly, although at times it felt like they were watching us a bit too much. the location was good, with easy access to the surrounding countryside. the breakfast was also good, with a decent range of options to choose from.
Small rooms, uncomfortable beds. Overpriced.
